If you want to do it all yourself, then you will need gel, zinc wicks, essential oil fragrance, liquid color dye, embeds, and something glass to use for a mold. Garage sales and thrift stores are great places to find interesting candle molds.First you need to hot glue the wick into place and then melt the gel. Temperature is the key when you melt your gel. Once the gel looks like syrup you can add the dye and the fragrance. You only need about a third of a teaspoon of fragrance per mold. Heating the mold in the microwave will help decrease bubbles. Also, you want to put the embeds in the container before you pour in your hot gel. Finally, you can pour in the gel and hold your wick upright with a pencil. Then just let the candle cool.
