Mexican Dessert Recipes – Try Some

Some of the tastiest Mexican recipes for desserts are those, that don't take really long to put together. You might plan to cook an elaborate Mexican cinnamon chocolate cake, and such a recipe is worth the work required indeed, but other times you could just want something quick and uncomplicated.

Maybe you like serving some tortilla chips with them, in which case you could cut flour tortillas into triangles, sprinkle them with cooking oil, spray cinnamon and sugar over them and cook them for 5 min at 400 degrees F.

Hot Cinnamon Roll Ups

Another fantastic flour tortilla recipe can be prepared by buttering a side of the tortilla, and then sprinkling a tbsp of sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon on the butter. Roll the tortilla up and butter the other side. Shower a little more sugar and cinnamon on it and then cook it for a few minutes at 375 degrees F.

This crispy, golden brown treat takes about a min to prepare and might be served with ice cream, whipped cream or a can of fruit pie filling for a super-fast dessert. Obviously this one will take more time to cook if you have to preheat the oven, so it is best to do that in advance or use an oven that is already hot from cooking another recipe.
