The November month has arrived and it's time to celebrate the Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving is known for its festive foods, parades, football, family and friends, and, of course, turkey. So, its time to search the internet or cookbook to get some delicious dishes for Thanksgiving day. In given article I have experimented a new recipe which I am sure will enjoyed by you and your friends.

Thanksgiving Day, which is also known as Turkey Day, is in reality a harvest festival celebrated in United States, Canada and other countries.

Eating turkey on Thanksgiving Day is a part of tradition and custom. Of course, there might be reasons for consuming turkey on Thanksgiving Day. No matter what might be the reason, it's very true that wild turkey is definitely a superb delicacy which one can enjoy on the auspicious Thanksgiving Day.

Well, you must be very curious to know some wonderful turkey recipes. You can try the given recipe for this Thanksgiving Day.

With this recipe, which is termed as cranberry orange stuffed turkey, you can enhance the taste of the Thanksgiving menu and serve the dish along with flavorsome sauce. To begin with, you will need 18-20 pound fresh turkey. For stuffing, you will require; 3 cups cranberries, 1-1/2 cup orange juice, cup sugar, 1 cup melted butter, 1 package herb seasoned cubed stuffing, 3 cups celery, 2 medium onions which should be chopped tsp pepper, tsp all spice plus 2 tsp salt.

For making sauce, you will require 2 packages of frozen cranberry-orange sauce plus cup orange juice.

First, you need to mix cranberries, sugar and orange juice in 3 quart pan and cook them on medium heat. Keep stirring them until cranberries pop and sugar dissolves. Meanwhile you can combine the remaining ingredients of stuffing in a bowl and also start preheating your oven to 325degrees. Mix the cranberries mixture to the stuffing mixtures and mix them properly. Now take the turkey and stuff it with this prepared mixture. Once the stuffing is properly done, you need to keep the stuffed turkey in a roasting pan and start baking it as per the written directions on the turkey package. In general it takes 4-5 hours for turkey to be fully cooked. You can also insert the meat thermometer inside the turkey and check whether it is cooked or not. If the thermometer is reading 180 degrees in thigh, then you can remove the turkey from the oven.

On the other hand, do not forget to make sauce which should be accompanied with your delicious baked turkey. You can combine all the sauce ingredients in a saucepan and start cooking them on medium-High Heat, just for 5-6 minutes.

Serve your cranberry- orange stuffed turkey with the yummy sauce and ENJOY!
